With 9a, E11 and V15 under his belt, Mat has spent many years as a test subject for his own training protocols. About Mat

In 2024, Mat became the youngest climber in history to climb a route with the British grade of E11 (which is 5.14c R for Americans).

My ascents of "Serenata" (V15/8C), "Hubble" (9a/5.14c), and "Rhapsody" (E11 7a/5.14c R) offered first hand experience on what it takes to perform at the top level of the three primary disciplines.

This has allowed me to coach hundreds of athletes all around the world to help them break through plateau’s & take their climbing to the next level.
